Sharon Lippman – Life Coach for Teens and Young Adults
I DIDN'T THINK MY VOICE MATTERED, BECAUSE EVEN IF I SAID IT, NO ONE WAS THERE TO LISTEN.
I was born in the late 60s, my mother was a first-generation Hong Kong career mom, dad was busy working, with no siblings at the time, I grew up alone. I don’t think my voice mattered, because even if I said it, no one was there to listen.
Now, as a Certified Professional Life Coach, I am able to lend my caring ear to listen to his or her story without judgement. I am ferociously curious about these amazing youngsters and I am present to as their sounding board for self-reflection.
I didn’t always know I’d be a Life Coach for Teens…
My interest in academic life coaching began when I applied my executive branding techniques with students in preparation for school interviews, some years ago. With business and marketing experiences, I not only was able to successfully get students accepted into their desired schools, but most significantly, I saw their characters blossomed through this process.
My other experiences in leadership development included: managing teams of young merchandisers and transforming them into ambitious sales leaders (with strong people skills, etiquette, and civility) and onto fresh-grad employees – while working in my husband’s company.
Through the journey of being a mom to 2 wonderful adults (what a blessing!), I truly believe this is indeed a precious time for growing kids AND for us too. Working with this age group is truly my calling! They are joyous and also an inspiration to me in carrying out this line of work.
In my spare time...
Growing up in New York opened me up to an array of music. I love listening to any genre that is groovy from latin, Jazz, all the way to hip hop. Salsa dancing is a passion and a special activity, because of it I met my hubby. Singing is a dream and would join the choir from time to time. I also enjoy playing the flute as I have done so in my teens.
Rom Coms -why not? They make me laugh (and cry). Flowers make me feel delightful and I hope to be a florist one day.
Most people know me as a real foodie and that I owe to my talented chef husband. All is nice but nothing tops hanging out with my kids (if they let me). And no, I don’t embarrass them (I think).
And lastly, I worship the Sun!

Sharon has worked with my son Victor and Edward for his interview skills for Harrow International School. She spent great effort of training them the best and polite way to express and acting manner. She also assisted them with their attire and let them perform like young gentlemen. The admissions staff in Harrow praised them that they were the most polite ones that day. They both got accepted by the school. Thank you Sharon!
